The Rotary Club of Capitol Hill is an active supporter of the Rotary World Peace Fellowship program. The club is currently sponsoring four Rotary World Peace Fellows, more than any other club in the world. The Rotary World Peace Fellowship is designed to educate leaders who promote national and international cooperation, peace, and the successful resolution of conflict in their lives, careers, and through service.
Partnering with several universities around the world, the fellowship leads to either a two year master's degree program in international relations, public administration, sustainable development, peace studies, conflict resolution, or a related field OR a professional development certificate in peace and conflict. Applicants should have three or five years work experience for the masters or certificate program. Additionally, applicants for the Masters need to be fluent in a foreign language.
